Click the or "Read BootROM" button in the interface; the log window will display a message saying "Waiting for device..." Completely power off your MediaTek device.

Plug the USB cable into the PC while continuing to hold the keys.

Ensure your target device has at least 50% battery charge. A sudden power loss mid-flash can permanently corrupt the storage chip.
