The web server in versions of EvoCam earlier than 3.6.8 (specifically versions 3.6.6 and 3.6.7) suffers from a memory corruption flaw. A remote attacker can send an overly long, specially crafted GET request to the server. When the server processes this request, it triggers a buffer overflow. By carefully controlling the data that overflows the buffer, an attacker can inject and execute arbitrary code on the host machine.
