Hervé Ryssen (a pseudonym for Hervé Lalin) is a French writer, activist, and former militant associated with various nationalist and far-right movements in France. Over the past two decades, Ryssen has authored numerous books focusing almost exclusively on antisemitic conspiracy theories, religious history, and polemics against Jewish influence in global politics, finance, and media. Due to the stringent laws in France regarding hate speech, Holocaust denial, and racial defamation, Ryssen has been convicted multiple times, leading to fines and, in late 2020, a highly publicized period of imprisonment.
