It is a moral outcry over the fact that, year after year, the same high-level officials, regional heads, and private sector actors engage in corrupt acts without any sense of deterrence. It's a cry of frustration that many corruptors receive light sentences, that the anti-corruption commission (KPK) has faced political attacks that weakened its independence, and that the problem persists among the young and well-educated.
